A hung example of a finished lantern; several of these lit lanterns will be hung
outdoors on a large tree, hopefully they will represent my vision
of a ghostlike twilight of the deep ocean.

Jellyfish Lanterns
The idea to cover the lanterns in semi-transparent paper
is to show the glowing lights that i will place in the
centre of the lanterns.
the flowing paper will represent ghost-like
/ deep underwater objects, that are being held in a hovering space.

Lantern Project
For this project Im making lantern sculptures,
so first I'm experimenting with covering lampshades with found paper.
Covered an IKEA lampshade in magazines
that I found around the University Union.
In this 2nd experiment I'm covering a lampshade
completely in IKEA tape measures!

Project ideas
I was shopping in Knutsford when I came across this old key hook cabinet.
I think it's amazing but I'm not willing to spend £300 on something I can make myself! ... Future idea is to make my own with an old piece of wood and stick the hooks in myself to hang my old collection of keys on.

Summer Sweetheart Sugar Cubes!
To keep myself out of trouble this Summer I have been making and selling little Sugar cube hearts! Looks a bit cuter to have with your tea/coffee!
Took a lot of trail and error and patience but I finally got a great result and started to put them in 200g packages and sold them at work and other places.
