Black Oil Pastel
Film noir style drawing roughly 1m x 1m.
This was a drawing I did in college,
I tried to create light and dark by only using black a white oil pastel as well as white spirit.
instead of using other colours to create different tones,
I started the drawing on blue ink-washed card to give a cold feel to the overall image.
-not bad for my first pastel drawing I think!

Lowry Drawings
These drawings are drawn onto acetate with a 'Sharpie' pen;
the whole image is layered up with blocks of colour
that I printed off onto the acetate.
I also added samples of wallpaper to a few other drawings.
The white blocks you see on the drawings is white paint
that is painted on the reverse side of the acetate.
Sketchbook example.
Original photograph I took at the Lowry in Salford Quays
printed onto acetate and layered with the same
block colours as before.

My love for Charcoal
This was my final piece in A-level 2009.
I'm not sure of the exact dimensions of this canvas but its roughly 2m x 2.5m.
Its a distorted image image originally of my Mother that I morphed on photoshop to create the Egon Schiele inspired piece.
It's a mixed media piece with materials including paint, latex, marker pen, charcoal, ink, strips of paper and glue.
One of my (Crumpled) drawings roughly 1m x 1m drawn with ink and charcoal only.
Sketchbook
This is a large self portrait in a 'Barbara Pearlman' inspired ink colourings.

"Fabrick"
This piece was done in A-Level where I recreated the idea of a brick work pattern out of many different textiles and textures.
Italian Landscape Sketches
In 2008 I was chosen to attend a Cheshire County Council trip to Florence for 'talented art pupils'.
During this trip we were able to sketch the landscape that surrounded our accommodation.
